To all the loyal followers of Zoot Radio.I created this site in 2002 to spread the good news about Old Time Radio. I've received many blessings over the years from you in this community. This site has brought a lot of joy to a great number of people and has helped litterly thousands over the years. I've received hundreds of stories from you in emails and hand written letters about how this site has enriched, brought joy, and literally changed lives. I'm not joking. It seems over dramatic to say these things but it's true. I get emails on a regular basis from people with relatives in nursing homes or assisted living facilities about how these shows had theraputic effects on alzheimer's patients, people suffering from severe depression and just grandparents who used them to connect with grandchildren and create a bond, pass on some history and enjoy family time together. I've never made a dime off of this site. It has COST me money and created problems for me with the tax bureau in my state because they thought I was doing it for a profit. Now, the reason for this open letter. This site has been hacked on numerous occasions and in the past I've been able to repair the damage. But not this time. Some DICK hacker in Poland thought it would be cool to destroy the site. I can't fix what he/she has done on my server and it would take too many hours to rebuild it. I just don't have the time or the energy any more. I've got too many things going on in my life right now. I don't know why people do these things. There has to be a special place in Hell for people like this. This is mindless destruction of over 10 years of my work. Good-bye. I'm sorry it ended like this. Zoot Radio is signing off.
